Michael Laycock Investment Director, Funds

Michael joined British Patient Capital in 2022 from the British Business Bank, where he has spent six years making over £500m of commitments to venture and growth stage equity fund via the VC Catalyst and Enterprise Capital Fund programmes.

Prior to joining the British Business Bank, Michael has worked in various roles across financial services at Bank of New York Mellon, Barclays and Coal Pension Trustees (the management company of the former British Coal pension schemes).
